Kalihi Weed & Seed meeting at Kaumakapili Church, 766 N. King St. A shared leadership group focuses on implentation of the Weed & Seed strategy in the Kalihi area.

March 1, at 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Community Coalition For Neighborhood Safety (CCFNS) meeting at Kotohira Jinsa, 1239 Olomea St. Citizen's Patrol & Neighborhood Security Watch participants share information and create partnerships with each other and law enforcement. Guest speakers share regularly on topics relating to public safety and neighborhood security.

March 18, at 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Chinatown SpeakOut Celebration, People's Voice Festival at Smith-Beretania Park. Opportunity for community to provide input on Chinatown's important issues. Information received will be taken and presented at the Mayor Mufi Hanneman's, City & County of Honolulu, Chinatown Summit.

March 21, at 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Community Action Seminar(CAS) at Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama Campus on March 21 & 22, 2006 is a co-sponsored event designed to educate and inform participants to work toward community team-building. Community members are empowered to work cohesively to decrease crime, through action planning and project implementation.

April 12, at 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Chinatown Summit is being convened by Mayor Mufi Hanneman and will be held at the Historic Hawai`i Theatre. Purpose of Summit is to gain community input to the issues faced in the Chinatown district. Solution-oriented discussion will take place between City & County of Honolulu officials and the community. Registration begins at 8:00 AM.
